Trekking in the woods, El Bolson

About the Trip

In 2014 my friend Eduardo (red shirt) and I decided to travel to Patagonia Argentina and do some trekking in Parque Nahuel Huapi (next to Bariloche) and El Bolsón .

Although phisically challenging at times, it was well worth it! Beautiful landscapes like no other place in the world. There is something magical about being in contact with nature, away from all the modern world distractions.

I hope one day you try it too, you won't regret it! Be sure to prepare yourself physically before travelling, buy some comfort boots, and head on for this unforgettable adventure!

Bariloche

Located in Argentina's Río Negro province and 1,680 kilometers (1044 miles) from Buenos Aires. Bariloche is one of the most breathtaking places in Argentina. It's quintessentially Patagonian.

The city is located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, next to the Andes. There you'll find incredible views, crystal clear lakes, meltwater rivers and mountains covered in snow.

El Bolsón

The city is located 129 kilometers (80 miles) from Bariloche, heading south on National Route 40. There are many trails around the city, with beautiful mountains, glaciers and rivers.

The town is truly unique and its people are warm and welcoming. One of the town's most popular attractions is the craft fair at Pagano square in downtown El Bolsón.
